Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This Privacy & Data Protection Policy explains how M.W.L Developments Pte Ltd handles personal data in connection with this website and enquiries about our services. It is intended to support our obligations under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Who this policy applies to

In this policy, “M.W.L”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to M.W.L Developments Pte Ltd, the Singapore company operating mingwenli.com.

This policy applies to visitors to our website and people who contact us about construction, engineering, renovation, design-and-build or related services.

Personal data we may collect

We may collect personal data that you choose to provide when you contact us through WhatsApp, telephone or email.

  • Your name, telephone number, email address and company or organisation.
  • Information about your property, project, requirements, budget or preferred timing.
  • Messages, photographs, plans, files and other information you send to us.
  • Records of our communications and any arrangements made with you.
  • Basic technical information generated when you visit the website, such as your IP address, request time, pages requested, browser or device information, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

How we collect personal data

  • Directly from you when you contact or communicate with us.
  • From another person acting with your authority, such as a colleague, representative or project professional.
  • Automatically through the systems required to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website.

Why we use personal data

We collect, use and disclose personal data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including:

  • Responding to enquiries and communicating with you.
  • Understanding project requirements and arranging discussions, quotations, site visits or services.
  • Managing our relationship with clients, suppliers and project contacts.
  • Operating, protecting, monitoring and troubleshooting the website and our communications.
  • Preventing misuse, protecting our legal rights, resolving disputes and meeting legal or regulatory obligations.

Consent and your choices

When you voluntarily provide personal data for an enquiry or another stated purpose, we will use it for that purpose and related purposes that are reasonably necessary to respond to you. Where the PDPA requires consent for another use or disclosure, we will seek it before proceeding.

You may withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal will not affect processing already carried out, and it may prevent us from responding to an enquiry or continuing a requested service.

We do not currently operate a marketing mailing list or use behavioural advertising on this website. Enquiry information will not be used for unrelated direct marketing without the notice or consent required by law.

When personal data may be disclosed

We may disclose personal data only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

  • Website hosting, information technology and security providers, including Vercel, which hosts this website.
  • Communications providers for email, WhatsApp/Meta when you choose WhatsApp, and telecommunications providers.
  • Font services, including Google Fonts, used to display the homepage typefaces.
  • Domain registration and DNS providers supporting our website and domain.
  • Contractors, consultants, professional advisers or other service providers assisting with an enquiry, project or legal obligation.
  • Government authorities, regulators, courts or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Overseas processing

Some technology and communications providers may process or store personal data outside Singapore. Where the PDPA applies to a transfer, M.W.L will take appropriate steps to ensure that the transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices when you use them. For example, choosing the WhatsApp contact link will take you to a service operated by WhatsApp/Meta.

Cookies and website technology

The public website does not currently use marketing or analytics cookies.

Vercel may process request and device information as part of providing and securing the website. If analytics, advertising technology or non-essential cookies are introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.

Protection and retention

We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or similar risks. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

We retain personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business needs, or to meet legal and regulatory requirements. When it is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or anonymise it.

Access, correction and enquiries

You may ask to access or correct personal data held by M.W.L, withdraw consent, or raise a question or complaint about our handling of personal data. We may need to verify your identity and may charge a reasonable fee where permitted by law. Some requests may be subject to exceptions under the PDPA.

Data protection enquiries and requests may be sent to sales@mingwenli.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line.

Data incidents

We will assess suspected personal-data breaches and take appropriate action. Where the PDPA requires notification to the Personal Data Protection Commission or affected individuals, we will make the required notifications.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted on this page with its last-updated date. Material changes should be reviewed before publication.
